Brittany Nickerson, RMT

Brittany Nickerson is a recent graduate with her Registered Massage Therapy diploma (2200 hour program). Brittany is trained in a number of massaged techniques, including: General Swedish Massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, hydrotherapy, pregnancy massage and PNF stretching. She also has been trained in orthopaedic special testing, postural assessment and gate analysis.

Brittany has a strong athletic background and a passion for sports. This is what ultimately led her to pursue a career in Registered Massage Therapy. Growing up, Brittany had first-hand experience on how important it is to maintain good tissue health and the benefits of massage therapy. Her goal is to educate her clients with this knowledge and as a team, reach their health goals.

Brittany is eager to begin using her experience and knowledge to start helping people pursue a healthy lifestyle. She also plans to start expanding her education immediately with upcoming courses. She is a member of MTANS (Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia) and MTWPAM (Massage Therapists’ and Wholistic Practitioners’ Association of the Maritimes).

In Brittany's free time she enjoys travelling, sports and spending time with friends and family!
