Dry Needling

Dry needling is the treatment of trigger points or muscle knots by inserting a fine needle into the problematic muscle to partially or fully realease the trigger point. The needles are similar to those used in acupuncture.

Using recent advances in pain science, dry needling is complimented well with manual / manipulative therapy and corrective exercises which results in an effective management of both chroinic and acute pain.

By identifying biomechanical and neurophysiological deficits, trigger point dry needling, manual therapy, and exercise provide a functional, multifaceted approach to patient care.
