“Helping others reach their health and wellness goals by using manual techniques that reduce pain is one of many ways I embody the Active Approach to the fullest extent possible!”
Alex is a graduate from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. Alex is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Finance, while working part-time as a deep-pressure therapeutic RMT.
Alex grew up in Riverview, New Brunswick. She played soccer and rugby until the end of high school when she was forced to retire due to injury from a car accident. While receiving care from a Massage Therapist, Chiropractor and Physiotherapist after the accident, she became very interested in massage and decided to pursue it shortly after. Seeing her own personal results has inspired her to help her own clients receive the level of care they deserve.
Alex has continued to learn new techniques and modalities to improve her treatments and assist in figuring out the root cause of client muscle symptoms. While Alex enjoys giving well-rounded treatments, she specializes with shoulder, neck, and upper back issues. Alex is also a member of the massage therapy association of Nova Scotia, and has certification in cupping massage.
